TDS on Salaries for 2011-12

CBT has released new circular dated 16-08-2011 giving detailed clarification on procedure for “TDS on Salaries (2011-12)”. Every year, such circular would have been released by December or January. However this year, a welcome measure has been taken by CBDT to issue it as early by August - 2011.

The circular gives an in-depth explanation for TDS on salaries. The effort is impressive in order to address root level confusions by the deductor while making TDS calculation.
